Lord Of The Rings?

To do something properly: is to do it good? So then to do something great is to do it better ... but to do something with  perfect results seems impossible, although it's not. It's just highly unlikely, but to get near perfect is excellent, and so I want to explain how to get these results.

It's more or less the fact that if you study: something hard and long enough you will begin to see things differently. Like take Tolkien's work for an example. He devoted five years to writing the Lord Of The rings, and then some, although as long as that sounds is that really as long as it sounds. Because if you think about it, five years isn’t that long at all, I mean no offense when it comes to Tolkien’s works, but the beginning of it truly takes me out of ‘middle earth’ so much to the point I stopped reading.

Sure he never really wanted to do it, but that still gives no reason for the lack of description. Although as I may have implied beforehand it took him five years to write that, most people take one, so what does that mean: That means he, well in my eyes he has made a great breading place for back story. Something I have yet to perfect though I’m getting there.

The whole reason behind this review is to show you why it’s good to take time on these things, of cause don’t think this is the only thing I’ll be reviewing, not that I have finished! But this at least two great composers you could say have in common, they both take great time in what they do. Although it took Leonardo Da Vinci ten years?: This definitely deserves to have a question mark because not only is it a starting position for the ‘Mona Lisa’, but it brings us to many cross roads, so many I don’t know if I can get through them in this one segment?

First one being: The fact that ‘What Takes Longer?’ This too will bring up heaps more things such as, ‘Equality’ through life and art. This is going to be much too long, and I need to wrap this up soon, the fact is yes while this is not a review as such, but I’m going to get one now. The other information: Will be explained in a later one, if you wish for me to make on, I’d very much appreciate it if you Email me (jjw96@hotmail.com)!

For the view: Well for the review I’ll have to say, not very good, while yes this is my favorite movie, and in every way the greatest ‘kid’ story I can think of, it’s not very good as a book. Now if you are one of these people who are yelling at their computer saying, ‘JESSE WHAT ARE YOU DOING!’ don’t worry, I have perfect reason not to like LOTR. What is it: It’s the fact that if for one example you were to write this book to day, no one would publish it, especially not the publishers who hold it today.

Harper Collins: This is the biggest name in publishing, but why? Well on the very simple fact, ‘they published Lord of The Rings’. Now I don’t think they were the original publishers, but it really wouldn’t matter, now that they do have it, that’s all that dose matter. You see, now they are the biggest name in publishing, they are really hard to get in, and then once you do, you will have to work abnormally hard to get big.

You see: The thing with companies who have great wealth usually don’t put any effort in new projects to get big, because they have no need to. Putting this simply, don’t if this is your first book go with the biggest name, you should go for new companies to which will help you, so you can help them! Wrapping up: Ok, so the  problem with Lord Of The Rings, is that it takes much too long to get into the story.

I’m not about to read in pity to wait for the good bits, a writer shouldn’t need their audience to do this, not a good one at least. A writer should provide heaps more than a bun, a beef patty, and some salad, they should provide a burger served on a plate. I know for a fact if you were to buy something at MacDonald’s they’re not going to say, ‘you can now fry chips your own way, well provide the seeds to make potatoes!’

NO: They would give you ‘fries!’ This is something which I could go on for much longer, but I must stop here, there will be a review of the movie next time, and that’s where I can settle a few more things. PS: The way of description, the style Tolkien used was the type I thought of using in year six of primary school. I’m not trying to be rude either, I’m being serious, you can’t dump description onto your viewers like you would rubbish on a pile of rubbish.

I’m not saying anything: just the fact that I find that’s the only thing I can relate the first fifty pages of LOTR to … rubbish! I give it a score three out of ten (3/10), I never got to the rest of the book, I was too bored … hec! It even turned me off reading until year ten! Sorry, but I could not enjoy it, though the concept rules!
